About the pod

Born distinguished.

Orca Moustache is a Solana meme coin with an unusual amount of follow-through. We took the most overqualified predator in the ocean, gave it sunglasses and a moustache, and built a pod around the idea that a community can be both funny and functional.

The story

From a group chat to the open ocean

An orca surfacing in cold water with snowy mountains behind

It began in November 2025 with a group chat and an absurd image: a killer whale in Ray-Bans, wearing a moustache borrowed from a Victorian portrait. Four friends from three time zones spent an evening laughing at it and one of them asked the question that started everything — “why does this not exist yet?”

The more we looked at real orcas, the better the joke got. They hunt in coordinated pods. They share food with family members who did not hunt that day. They have regional dialects, which is a very polite way of saying that different groups of orcas have different accents. They are, in short, the opposite of the average crypto community: organised, generous with their own, and quietly lethal when somebody disrespects the group.

We spent the next months doing the unglamorous part. Writing a token model with no team allocation. Designing services the pod would actually use instead of a Telegram and a prayer. Deciding what we would never do — no presale, no stealth mint, no “marketing wallet” we could quietly drain on a Friday night.

The result is $MOUSTORCA: a fixed-supply Solana SPL token launching on 20 November 2026 at 14:00 UTC in a public fair launch, with liquidity burned and mint authority renounced. The moustache is a joke. Everything underneath it is not.

No presale

There is no private round, so there is nobody sitting on a cheaper entry than you.

No team allocation

The crew buys at launch like everyone else. Visible on-chain, forever.

What we stand on

Four rules the pod lives by

These are not marketing pillars. They are the actual constraints we agreed on before we wrote a single line of branding, and they are the reason some things on this site say “no”.

Radical transparency

Every wallet address we control is published. Treasury spends are proposed, voted and recorded. If we mess something up, we say so in the same channel where we announced the wins.

Community before charts

We would rather have 12,000 people who post memes and attend votes than 120,000 wallets that never say a word. Community is measured in conversation, not in vanity numbers.

Ship, then talk

Announcements follow deliverables, never the other way around. Every roadmap item gets a public status and a date, and slipping a date comes with an explanation.

Give back to the water

Five percent of supply is set aside for the ocean fund: verified donations to marine conservation and clean-up projects, voted on by holders. Memes with a conscience.

The mascot

Anatomy of a distinguished orca

Everything on the mascot is a decision, including the ridiculous parts. Consider this the official field guide.

The moustache
A full, handlebar declaration that we are taking the joke further than strictly necessary. It also hides a very good poker face.
The sunglasses
Because an apex predator does not need to look at the chart every four minutes. We check the fundamentals, then go back to the memes.
The pod
Orcas do not swim alone. Neither do we — the community treasury, the staking pool and the votes all exist so the group moves as one.
The deep current
Our staking service is named after the current orcas ride for hundreds of kilometres without burning energy. Effortless motion, real distance.

The crew

Anonymous by design

We use codenames and we do not publish faces. Not because we are hiding a rug, but because the project should be judged on its wallets, its code and its community — all of which are public. Here is who does what.

CF

Captain Fin

Founder & Chief Moustache

Owns the vision, the token model and every “no” we have said out loud. Writes the long posts nobody asked for.

SS

Sonar Sam

Protocol & tooling

Builds the staking programme, the dashboard and the on-chain plumbing. Believes every button should have a test.

BB

Betty Barnacle

Art & brand

Designed the moustache, the sunglasses and every poster since. Will fight you about kerning and win.

GN

Gil Netter

Community & operations

Runs the 31 moderators, the events calendar and the tone of the room. Knows every pod member by their profile picture.

A note on anonymity: the crew holds no allocation, and the multisig that controls the treasury requires three of five signatures with two independent signers outside the core team. Everything is verifiable on Solana — anonymity is about privacy, not opacity.

Ocean fund

We took the name. We give something back.

Five percent of the total supply is allocated to the ocean fund, released in tranches against verified donations to marine conservation and coastal clean-up projects. Holders propose and vote on the recipients through the Moustache Vault.

  • Quarterly proposals open to every holder with more than 10,000 $MOUSTORCA.

  • Donation receipts and transaction signatures published in the pod hub after each release.

  • Annual public report on funded projects, including the ones that did not work out.

Now you know the orca. Meet the pod.

Join the Telegram or X, read the tokenomics, and decide for yourself whether a moustache is a sufficiently serious foundation for a Solana project. We think it is.
